Sales Director
Preamble
MPX, the first fintech platform with built-in compliance that enables local securities firms to distribute their products worldwide, is looking to expand its small but growing sales team. Our client base is global, and our rapidly expanding product suite includes tools to tokenize local offerings and to enable compliance of local offerings with global ESG standards. We are building a platform that seeks to be a leader in the ‘new’ global securities markets, and we are seeking to attract a young, diversified, and international talent base in accordance with our mission.
Sales
We are looking for a high-performing Sales Director(s) to help us meet ambitious sales objectives. You will be responsible for identifying, qualifying, and prospecting business opportunities, with an eye for bringing new revenue through new and existing customers.
Reporting to the Chief Revenue Officer, you will oversee the sales of MPX’s fintech solutions to clients within the global trading, banking, and private investment communities.
The successful candidate will be hands-on; a creative thinker; results-oriented; self-driven; and a team player who is comfortable working with minimum supervision, yet able to work effectively within a team environment and to connect with colleagues at all levels.
Responsibilities
- Meet and exceed sales targets
- Manage the entire sales process for identified prospects, from initial contact through closure
- Work closely with Sales Engineers to gather and understand requirements, prepare demos, organize follow-ups, etc.
- Develop and support account planning while understanding client strategy and coordinating relationships between MPX management and accounts
- Work closely with Marketing to enhance sales collateral required for the target market
- Involve other internal or external stakeholders and the Executive Management team as required
Desired Skills and Experience
- Minimum 3-5 years of relevant sales experience
- Software vendor sales in the fintech space
- Overall industry product expertise, including commercial models and competitive landscape
- Understanding of the drivers and dynamics of securities markets’ firms and sales products is advantageous
- Proven track record of successfully developing new business, with a results-driven mindset
- Understanding of and ability to drive a sales process, both externally and internally
- Excellent customer service, listening, and negotiation skills
- Autonomous and capable of bringing extra value to what they do
- Strong collaboration/teamwork skills
- Undergraduate degree or higher
- Additional language skills are a plus
